Helping a client come up with the name for their new brand and then seeing that name become a real living, breathing thing/experience/story/product/place/lifestyle/and in this case, home... will never ever, ever get old. For this project, I got to work with Dover Signature Properties out of Knoxville, TN to help them come up with the name + landing page design for the former TN Supreme Court Building that's being redeveloped into luxury apartment homes + a unique rooftop lounge in downtown Knox. The only thing that gets me as hype as seeing an initials letter logo come together as perfectly as this one, is seeing Eminem and Snoop Dogg crip walking across stage again. It’s been awesome to watch this dude live HIS life in motion, from starting his business AstirLife, to then launching the @live_life_in_motion_podcast, aiming to help others live their best life through mental and physical health + wellness. For this project I worked with Bristol Development Group out of Nashville to come up with the name, tagline + brand identity design for one of their latest lux apartment developments going up in East Nashville. We landed on “The Link” for the name bc “link” represents the vision of the up-and-coming location where the property sits, as it is becoming a destination in itself that will further serve as a “connection” point btwn downtown and East Nashville. That’s how the tagline “Connected Living” was born💡🤓✨🔗

If you didn’t know, Mario Brown (@buildgreenville) has been up to some pretty cool stuff in the 864 lately. The launch of his new business, @affordableupstate is the only one of its kind, focused on redeveloping affordable residential multifamily real estate in and around Greenville. Their mission? To bring modern, energy-efficient, affordable living to the Upstate of South Carolina. In other words? They are passionate about serving the people in their city and improving the city that they call home. “Vista West” is one of the first of many communities that Mario and the AU team are focused on redeveloping to help bring a better living experience + housing option to the west side of GVL for those living in this community. Doing good for others and the city that you live in is what it’s all about. I can’t think of a better logo + website project to be a part of. The most rewarding part of my job is getting to hear a person’s story // idea // dream // passion — and then being able to help that person bring their vision to life and connect their story with others through brand design.
